EVACNET4 README.TXT FILE EVAC4ZIP.EXE is a self-extracing distribution of EVACNET4. To install EVACNET4: 1.Get to the DOS prompt. 2.Create a directory to store the installation, e.g. C: MD \EVACNET4 CD \EVACNET4 3.Copy the installation file, EVAC4ZIP.EXE to the new directory. 4.Expand the self-extracting file, e.g. C: CD \EVACNET4 EVAC4ZIP 5.See what you have, e.g. DIR Should list EVACNET4.EXE, several IN file and several INI files, etc. 6.Test the install by running EVACNET4, e.g. EVACNET4 Should get the main EVACNET4 menu; press "QQ" to quit. 7.Get the EVACNET4 User's Guide. It is available on my web site at http://www.ise.ufl.edu/kisko/ Under Downloads, click on EVACNET4 and scroll to the bottom for the User's Guide links. EVAC4UG.EXE is a self-extracting zip file containing EVAC4UG.DOC (a MS Word 97 version of the User's Guide), EVAC4UG.HTM (an HTML version of the User's Guide) and gif files (figures for EVAC4UG.DOC and EVAC4UG.HTM). 8.Do a sample run, the one in Appendix C. Enter the following: EVACNET4 READ UG_C_DEF.IN RUN C EXAM 1 Look at other results. Try other menu choices. Have fun. 9.Look at the User's Guide in more detail.
