Make_em (ver 1.2) Make_em creates a set of linked web pages for a set of images. To find out more about Make_em, press H and then Enter. To Make_em, press Enter. l Make_em reads a file named index.txt and creates index.htm and an htm file for each image listed in index.txt. index.htm will have annotated links to each of the images and each image page will be annotated and have [Next] [Prev] and [Index] links. A draft index.txt can be made with the Make_txt command. Make_txt will list each of the jpg files in the current directory. Below is a sample index.txt file created by Make_txt: ~Title goes here. Must start with a ~. ~Zero or more lines of text go here. Start each with a ~. ~Add picture descriptions after each file name below. DELETE THIS LINE! DCP00134.JPG DCP00135.JPG Filenames containing spaces should be enclosed in double quotes. Note that make_txt does not currently insert the double quotes. After creating the draft index.txt, edit it to add your annotations, e.g. If you do not have a convenient way to view the images as you edit index.txt, run Make_em on index.htm as is and view the created index.htm and linked images as you edit index.txt. ~March 1999 Trip to San Fancisco, Tahoe and Yosemite ~3/6/99 Fly to Oakland, drive to San Fancisco
